This night-time activity was well attended by all five Troops in Bramble Bay District. Charles S Snow District also got wind of the game and we obliged with an invitation. In all, 75 Scouts, 32 Venturers, 5 Rovers and 18 Leaders attended. The game was based on the G20 Leaders summit held at Brisbane in November 2014. With it’s carefully executed plot, there were many twists and turns. We had the Venturers acting as close protection detail personnel for the heads of state who travelled in motorcades; the Scouts acting various roles such as Police, protestors, innocent bystanders, and ……. terrorists; The Rovers stationed as goalers and …………. the Leaders acted as Arms Dealers and Secret Service Agents. There were also Embassies (instant Gazebos) dotted around the park where one could seek safe refuge!!! Finally, there was money – lots of it, and flour bombs! At the end of the game, money was counted and the player with the most won. The game was awesome to say the least.
