2018 - The Black Diamond Burrell Scout Den, Chermside
Hi All I reckon the night was a great success in many ways, just to mention a few based on my observation : - Walking through the game I noticed all Players, including Leaders , actively engaged at all times in a positive way - Great to see Scouts learning the old but essential skill of bartering - Great to see the effort and imagination the Leaders put into to the store fitout and dress codes - Great to see the interaction between the Venturers as the Roaming Reporters and the players they interviewed - Great to see Leaders mixing with other Leaders they were not familiar with and I must say all having such childish fun - Great to see Scouts mixing with other Scouts - Everything went to plan . The timing was perfect and the admin team did a fantastic job to register all in by 7 pm Generally the vibe was one of excitement that never abated. As one Scout put it when I blew the whistle to end the game “ Awwwgggghhhh – could you have left it for just a few minutes more …… I was just about to close a deal ! “ Many thanks to all of you .
