Rovers, assisted in a number of areas including the final destination where hey checked that the gangs had successfully completed the tasks at all 6 activity locations and had all 6 pieces of the map. Rovers then gave the Gangs a riddle which when solved led them to where the treasure was hidden. Adult Leaders, being the interruptive element, played the mounted Police . They waylayed the gangs and interrogated them by seeking answers to questions based on the various news articles written by the Journalist , Archie Bald. A small team of Adult Leaders also ran the Jail for naughty Scouts sent there by the Mounted Police.
