Property Article 7 - Released 30th May 2025
The Final Leg
This is the story about Joey Gnomey. In the last article, Joey is at the stage where he has amassed a small property empire and has handed over the day to day running of the rental properties to his teenage sons in the process. Joey is now looking for the next big challenge. He has his sights set on acquiring a large parcel of vacant land, some 200 acres close to the city of Bris Gnomeville. His vision was to replicate the small village atmosphere he enjoyed as a child growing up in in the town of San Marco de Polo. His plans included not just houses but also schools, shops, parks, a Scout Den and other aspects that bind an urban community. To ensure all goes to plan, Joey and his sons oversee all aspects of the property development including the building of houses and other structures. To make this happen, all of Joey’s skills and knowledge come into to play. After several years of negotiating, the deal is finalised, Bank funding is in place as are all council approvals and sub contractors are engaged to build everything. The projects and all stages of construction will take 10 years. Of course, such a mammoth undertaking is not without it’s setbacks and challenges, however, with the benefit of experience and knowledge, Joey and his sons were well placed to deal with situations as they arose. Having attained the status of a millionaire, not in 6 months but over 40 years, Joey is now satisfied that he has accomplished many things. Until my next article, Donald Dunn-Moven Property Analyst Pursue your dreams and you will get there.
