The Property Empire Expands
This is the story about Joey Gnomey. In the last article, Joey quietly celebrated his first ever property acquisition – a small sugar cane farm. One of the loan conditions was that the loan had to be repaid within 5 years. It was a tough deal and with a cyclone that destroyed the crop in the first year, the pressure to pay the loan in 5 years weighed heavily on Joey. Having had a number of setbacks and challenges, Joey had developed a good sense of resilience and strategic thinking. He figured he needed help! He wrote to his family back in his home country of Gnomia inviting his 7 other siblings to join him in the lucky country. His younger sister Vera-Anne and younger brother Salvatore took up the offer and helped him work his farm at night whilst he and his cane cutting gang worked on other peoples farms during the day . After 3 years of hard work , Joey paid off the loan on the small cane farm . The opportunity arose to sell the small farm. In partnership with his younger brother, now known as Sam to all, a much larger and more profitable farm was purchased. Business was going well until the next tragedy . Sam’s wife wishes to break away from the property partnership. An agreement is reached where Joey sells his share of the farm to Sam. This saddens Joey but life goes on . Joey moves with his young wife and 3 sons to the big city of Bris Gnomeville. In the ensuing years, Joey purchases several rental properties, amassing a small property empire in the process. Eventually Joey hands over the day to day running of the rental properties to his sons who are now teenagers , instilling in them the same hard work ethic that he was accustomed to. Joey felt he had achieved a lot at this stage , but was looking for the next big challenge. What next for Joey ? Until my next article, Donald Dunn-Moven Property Analyst Pursue your dreams and you will get there.
